Samantha Webb

Samantha is a narrative designer and game writer with production experience, and a member of BAFTA Crew Games 2021.

She has expericence writing for Frontier Developments, Ubisoft, Drop Bear Bytes, Adopt Me! and Ndemic Creations. She was the writer for indie game Yokai Moon and has previous experience as a dev manager for Riot Games. In 2020 she was shortlisted for the Game Dev Heroes Writing and Narrative Design award.

Samantha is also the co-founder of Clockwork Raven Studios, an indie studio working on engaging narrative games. In 2021 Clockwork Raven Studios was selected to participate in the Tentacle Zone’s inaugural game incubator.

Samantha is a regular speaker and panellist on narrative design and gender in the video game industry, and was awarded her MA in Game Design in 2017. She co-chaired the WGGB video games sub-committee from 2020-2022, and was a narrative design mentor for 2021’s Limit Break programme.
